Charm City Works is here to empower and uplift Baltimore City residents. You can access job services, free training, free Lyft rides and more! Our range of programs are absolutely free, accessible to everyone in Baltimore, and we welcome you to join any that spark your interest.
But that's not all! When you participate in a Charm City Works program, you also unlock access to additional free services. We offer support in behavioral health, legal matters, adult basic education, and financial counseling. Your success is our priority!

Let’s Ride to Work is a rideshare program for adult Baltimore City residents who are newly employed. Eligible participants will receive up to 40 free Lyft rides to and from work. |

Train Up provides Baltimore City residents with free job training and skills essential to Baltimore’s growing industries. Over 15 providers train Baltimore City residents in areas including Commercial Driving, Industrial Sewing Machine Operation, CNA/GNA and much more! |

Hire Up is a transitional jobs program for Baltimore City residents. Program participants will receive a job at a city agency or nonprofit for up to 6 months that pays $16 per hour for 35 to 40 hours per week. During those 6 months, we’ll help you with finding a full-time job. Many participants go on to have full-time careers with their temporary employer. |

Through YouthWorks, teens and young adults ages 14–21 are offered summer positions with private, nonprofit, and city and state government employers throughout Baltimore City. Participants work in a variety of industries and gain workforce readiness and career-specific skills. |

Residents can request to meet mobile career navigators at libraries, coffee shops and other public places around Baltimore City. You choose the location and we come to you! Businesses and organizations can invite mobile career navigators to their events, chapter meetings or locations. Spanish language services are also available. |
