What: ARRA Partner Forum

Background: 

The Mayor’s Office of Employment Development, in coordination with the Baltimore Economic Recovery Team and the Baltimore Workforce Investment Board, selected 14 vendors to provide training opportunities using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding. The vendors – listed below – will provide occupational skills training for more than 300 Baltimore City residents this fall in the following areas:

  • Pharmacy tech
  • Patient transport
  • Dental assistants
• Sales
• Bioscience
• Construction
• Hospitality
• Culinary Arts
• Information Technology

The ARRA Partner Forum will provide details about the training opportunities, eligibility criteria and referral process through MOED’s Career Center Network.
