BALTIMORE, MD (Friday, July 8, 2022) - The Baltimore Workforce Development Board is seeking responses to a Request for Proposals for qualified organizations to provide (1) Occupational Skills Training to Out–of-School Youth (OSY) and/or (2) Career Pathways & Work Readiness Training to In-School Youth (ISY). Eligible OSY are between the ages of 18 and 24, while eligible ISY are graduating seniors up to 21 years of age who earn a minimum of 21 credits or more to be eligible for graduation in May/June 2023. 

The full Request for Proposals is attached. All proposals must be received in-person by Friday, July 29, 2022 at 4:30pm. Further proposal delivery instructions are listed on page 4 of the RFP. There is an in-person Bidders Conference on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m-3:00 p.m. at 1510 W. Lafayette, Baltimore, MD 21217. We strongly encourage prospective respondents to attend the Bidder's Conference to learn additional information.

Questions relating to the RFP will not be answered by telephone. Providers are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the Bidders Conference by 4:00 pm on Friday, July 15, 2022 to youthcareers@oedworks.com.

After the Bidders Conference, additional questions pertaining to the RFP must be submitted in writing to youthcareers@oedworks.com no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022. Questions received after this deadline will not be answered.
